Drs. Wisner and Snyder have a combined 52 years of experience. They are Charleston natives and active members of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and the local SCDA Coastal District. Both have completed hundreds of hours of Continuing Dental Education in an effort to bring their patients the safest and most modern dental techniques available.

Dr. James B. Wisner

Dr. James B. Wisner graduated from The Honors College at The University of South Carolina in 1996 and received his D.M.D. degree in 2002 from the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Dental Medicine. He served as a Captain in the United States Air Force for 3 years where he completed an AEGD residency and was certified in Intravenous Conscious Sedation. Dr. Wisner joined Peninsula Dentistry in 2005 and brought new clinical techniques and technology to complement the doctors’ shared experience.  Dr. Wisner and his wife, Kristin, have two adorable children, a son, Reese, and a baby girl, Everley.

Dr. Howard E. Snyder 

Dr. Howard E. Snyder graduated from Emory University in 1970 and received his D.D.S. degree in 1973 from the University of North Carolina School of Dental Medicine.  He served as a dentist in the United States Navy for 2 years in San Diego, California. Dr. Snyder has been in private practice for 38 years.  Dr. Snyder and his wife, Mary Anne, have two beautiful daughters, Jenna and Nessa, their two precious grandsons, Treyton and Sims, and their son-in-law Richard.
