Dr. Thomas comes from a dental family—his father is a dentist, having taken over the practice of his uncle. This early exposure to dentistry and a love of problem-solving inspired his career. He loves building relationships with patients and finds great joy in helping them be happy with their smile, from the inside out.
A graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy, Dr. Thomas is an Invisalign-certified provider, a Kois-trained dentist, and an Hour Detroit Top Dentist. He is also on track to achieve Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry in 2025.
Dr. Thomas believes that maintaining oral health goes beyond aesthetics—it plays a vital role in overall health. He loves working with a well-tuned team and believes that trust, communication, and education can help patients understand their options and achieve lifelong oral health. Passionate about advanced and conservative dentistry, Dr. Thomas has expertise in a wide range of procedures, including Invisalign®, veneers, and full-mouth rehabilitation. He finds smile transformations especially rewarding, as they can profoundly impact a patient’s confidence and quality of life. His love of dental technology like lasers and 3D printing continues to grow.
Dr. Thomas and his wife recently moved to Charleston, SC. They love everything outdoors, including kayaking and competitive sports. On the weekends, you’ll find them exploring the area’s history, food, and culture.
